Known since the 18th century as pseudoscientific, Astrology uses celestial
positions to discern information about human affairs and terrestrial events.
Astrology involves interpreting and observing the fixed stars, the Sun, the Moon, and the planets to forecast earthly and human events. Astrologers hold the belief that by analyzing the influence of the planets and stars on earthly affairs, they are able to predict and influence human destiny. Astrology is widely considered diametrically opposed to modern Western science even though it's been considered a science throughout its history.
